My husband I recently decided to purchase a hot tub. We had checked out a couple of other places for hot tubs and they did not have any in stock and told us we would not be able to get a hot tub until July! Then we found Recreation Wholesale in Lee’s Summit and they were able to get us a hot tub in 8 days of our purchase. They were knowledgeable about what our needs were for the type of hot tub we wanted, and delivered the hot tub and set it up on the day they promised. They also included chemicals for the hot tub, and explained how to use them. But if we forgot they gave us a number to the person that handles their chemicals that we could call anytime and they would tell us how to fix it. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend anyone to check them out for a hot tub if you are wanting a quick and easy process.

My pool is perfect and the equipment couldn't be better. They had it ready in 2 weeks and then we waited on the liner for 8 days. They were amazing. Ron Martin was our first contact and and 2 years later he is still taking care of us. Ron has been absolutly amazing answering any and all questions.

If you are looking for an awesome family owned pool company to fulfill your needs for a dream pool or a hot tub, you need to contact Joe at Recreation Wholesale. From the beginning, they were honest, competitive, and their customer service is unbelievable. Just this year on 4th of July weekend my pool pump started to overheat and would shut off when running at high rpm. We had lots of family up for the holiday weekend and our weekend would of been ruined if it wasn't for Recreation Wholesale. Recreation Wholesale uses the best of the best when it comes to equipment and their equipment has great warranties. Joe and his team dropped everything they were doing on a Friday of a holiday weekend and came out and replaced my pump motor and got us back up and running and saved the weekend by allowing the kids to use the deck jets and waterfall while also circulating the water throughout the return lines to enable proper circulation throughout the pool. I highly recommend Recreation Wholesale for your pool and hot tub needs. One of the best family businesses that I have ever dealt with and their whole team puts the customer first no matter the situation. Thanks Joe and Team!

We like most people had never bought a pool before. We went to several different companies in the KC area to find the place. I must say that Recreation Wholesale went out of their way to make sure our experience was wonderful. Our pool was installed in the timeframe they provided and everything went very smooth. We choose recreational wholesale based off the large amount of positive reviews online and what we thought was a great deal including installation for an above ground pool. What I can tell you is if Ron is your sales person, come back another day when the owner is there. Ron raddled off the details, timeline and costs so quickly it was hard to digest. He has clearly been in the business for a long time and is robot mode because he could care less about ensuring buyers understood their options and timing. When we originally scheduled time to meet with Ron we were told a date about a month out would be when the pool would be installed, totally understandable. Two days later at the time of our appointment we were pushed to being 5 weeks out, but still advised it would be in before Memorial Day. Communication from the team is pretty awful, we had to continuously be the ones to reach out for timeline and clarity on action items. When it was all said and done it took them 7 weeks to get the above ground installed. The team that installed it got it up and left and said they’d be back in a few days to set the pump up, we had to call to see when that would actually be as they left our yard in shambles and no idea what steps were next after the pool was filled. As first time pool owners, we were told we would receive a manual with step by step instructions on how to to take care of the pool, received a week after our pool was installed. we went to “pool school” with Ron, don’t waste your time watch some YouTube videos they are more informative and are more clear on the process. We’ve been heavily utilizing our neighborhood pool supply store for testing of our water, purchasing of chemicals and they have been so much more friendly and helpful than Recreational Wholesale wish we would have bought from them. This place is clearly out to sell as many pools as possible and could care less about the customer experience.
