10 admission. Plan on 20 minutes. I spent 1 hour, but read every sign a couple times, had long (one sided) conversations with a wolf and owl, and went around the loop twice. Well maintained, clean, comfortable environment - felt like a flower garden in a couple places. Excellent signage. I saw a fox, 2 wolves, 2 coyotes, a cougar, 3 bears, 2 sandhill cranes, Lynx, falcon, 3 owls, vulture, and a porcupine.... It's small. This is a place to stop and stretch your legs en route to somewhere. Gravel parking lot large enough for the longest RV. Paved Handicapped parking and the path around the grounds are paved. Next door is a frisbee golf park. If you walk up, over, and down the other side of the hill there is river access with a shaded picnic table - follow the path. (4 stars because it's pretty small for 10; though I suspect that likely doesn't cover food, staff, maintenance, veterinarian, etc..)

All animals and birds are ones that can't survive in the wild for one reason or another.looks like they take great care of the animals.

The Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary adopted my fox squirrel last October. My dear little 'Olive' enjoyed her time at the sanctuary. They took excellent care of her, and she adapted to her new home very well. I'm thankful to all the wonderful staff who participated in her care, especially Ms. Courtney, the Education Specialist. She and Olive bonded quickly and I am forever grateful for that.

Very small but quaint nature center. Has a cute gift shop. Clean restrooms. And plenty of dirt parking. Note you have to wear your mask inside and out on the trail the whole time.

What an incredible place! We went through twice to see the animals better. There are amazing animals here, and the staff obviously loves them and cares for them. Meeka the Three legged raccoon was very chatty and a big hit! Our group was from 4 to 75, and everyone enjoyed the outing. The staff was great at answering questions and super friendly. The covid precautions were easy to follow, and everyone was masked. The reroutes paths were easy to use and gave us great views of all the enclosures. It was great to see so many animals I’ve seen at a distance my whole life, from coyotes to mountain lions up close! Highly recommend stopping here if you are in red lodge - it is literally right at the edge of town.

The staff was very knowledgeable...it was nice to see a place where the animals who would not survive in the wild can live out their days. Was a cute little place.
