This review is a bit unconventional because we never actually received a visit from a Home Instead professional, but please read on! My 87 year old mother suffered a stroke last year and has vascular dementia. She was living happily and comfortably in assisted living in Grapevine, TX when COVID-19 hit and the lockdown caused her condition to deteriorate rapidly. After she was hospitalized with an acute UTI, my older sister in the Houston area very generously offered to host mom in their home. My sister is a retired healthcare professional and her husband and daughter were able to help care for mom, so this was an ideal arrangement for all of us - mom was among family and the family was able to provide high quality care for her, with some help from another home health company. Then the winter storm hit. My sister's house was without power AND water for days, in fact, it is still without water. My mom could not remain in those conditions for long, so a decision was made to move mom to my other sister's home in Waxahachie. The home health company we used in the Houston area did not serve Waxahachie, so I had to QUICKLY find another home health company who serviced Waxahachie. Angela and Kim with Home Instead responded immediately, professionally, and compassionately to my needs. They arranged for an in person assessment that would take place the same day we got mom to Waxahachie, they guided me through the electronic paperwork, they explained their COVID procedures, and so much more. Throughout the process, they exceeded all my expectations and did a fantastic job. As it turned out, we did not have to move my mother to Waxahachie, but I've elected to establish a \dormant\ account for mom with Home Instead so we can use their services if we ever have to take mom to Waxahachie. This is an outstanding group of professionals and I highly recommend them.

We have been very pleased with Home Instead and the service they provide. The caregivers are so supportive of our family. Many of them feel like members of our family. In addition, when we have needed help in the case of an emergency, the administrative team has found coverage for the many additional hours that we have sometimes needed.
Home instead Senior Care has been such a blessing for our family especially during Covid19. They are dependable, caring and there to provide support difficult for the family as none of us live in the same town. It has allowed our Mom to remain in her house.
My experience with the owners and staff of Home Instead have been nothing short of spectacular. The owners are a wonderful couple who genuinely care for each client, each caregiver, and each family member. You can tell instantly that their level of care and commitment is a cut above the rest. The staff is quick to listen and quick to help - if you are looking for in-home care for your loved one, I highly recommend giving them a call!!
The most unprofessional people i have ever met. I drove an hour for an interview only to be denied the interview. Yes i have a little bit of anxiety driving long distances, but if given a second to collect myself i am comepletely fine. Who doesn't have some anxiety driving. So basicly i drove an hour there and an hour back for nothing. So unprofessional!!!!!
