I am a Citizen of Red Springs, N. C.. Today I was traveling back up Milk Dairy Road between 2 P. M. and 3 P. M.. I witnessed a Fire leaving the Field and coming towards the Highway. In that Area We have Millions or Billions of Dollars in Solar Panels. I drove quickly to Town Fire Department to tell Them about the Fire that I had just witnessed. I blew My Horn several Times, but No one came to Door. After that I dialed 911. The Male Person at the 911 Desk blew Me off, saying Fire Department was aware of the Field Fire Earlier in the Week and They'd taken care of It. Before I could explain that the Fire was no longer under control and was just about to burn down an Electrical Pole, the Male 911 Operator hung up on Me. I called right back and spoke with a Female 911 Operator to tell Her One of the Light Poles was already on Fire from the Flames that were leaving the Field. She told Me the Fire Department was already There. They were not There yet. I was sitting alone taking Pictures as the Fire was running up the Pole towards several Electrical Wires. Electrical Fires are very dangerous. I left the Fire and returned Home, but I was still worried. I turned around and returned to Milk Dairy Road at the Fire Scene to call 911 one more Time. Finally Fire Department and Volunteers were on the Scene. Sometime People May call in with \Cry Wolf Calls\ and nothing is really going on. I would never do that to Professionals Who have saved My Life when the Rescue Squad came to My Home and rushed Me to the Hospital when My Blood Pressure shot up to 224/124. Please let the Public tell You what is going on Sometime and listen. The Male Operator needs more training on how not to judge so quickly and listen closely to what a Person has to say. It can save Lives and Money sometime. Willie
