A great place for walking! The loop is a little less than a mile long. The walking path is well maintained and is suitable for strollers. Historical buildings and what's left of them add distinctive charm to this place. Also, historical reenactments during Winter Walks, usually in early December, and educational programs offered in the late summer, are really worth attending. I highly enjoyed them!

Beautiful and hiker friendly, this is one of my favorite parks ever. It's a unique place because there are 2 separate parks, divided by a rural highway. It's also haunted. One day I was walking through with my mom in the middle of August, by the troop baracks, during a heat wave, when we suddenly stepped into an ice cold pocket of air with absolutely no explanation. Even the porta potty is lovely! I can't say enough positive things about the beauty of this place and it's good energy.

What a beautiful park. I visited last Monday and it was such a cozy, tranquil place to sit and eat my lunch.

Dogs on leashes allowed. It is a scenic park with picnic tables and a walking loop.

Needs the ponds cleaned up . I remember as a child it was well taken care of and groomec. Great fishing as well
