I was just thinking about this gym and the coaches. I really enjoyed working out here and using their facility as an open gym to do my own workouts. I recommend it to anyone looking to learn how to Box.

I have always grown up watching boxing and have been interested in getting into the sport but never actually joined. I finally decided to show up and everyone here at NWFA was incredibly welcoming and have been great. I have already learned so much and feel like after every class I improve more and more. All the members are very friendly and help you out and give you tips to improve your form. I definitely recommend anyone to sign up if you have the time.

I've trained at various striking, grappling, and MMA gyms in the past and I can say with confidence that Northwest Fighting Academy stands out. I have taken both Boxing and Muay Thai classes and the instruction at this gym is top notch, friendly, and focused. Often times it can be intimidating walking into a fight gym of any kind and the staff at NWFA work hard to make the environment friendly and welcoming for people of all ages and skill levels. They are very low pressure with their memberships, as well as flexible and fair in pricing. They also don't try to pressure you into buying things you simply don't need or won't use, NWFA is definitely not a \McDojo\ which can be a problem at other gyms. I currently train Muay Thai roughly 3-4 times a week under Kru Louie and am impressed and humbled whenever I step into the gym. Louie does a great job adjusting the technique for all skill levels and if you're struggling to get the technique right, Louie does a great job being attentive and working to your strengths, ensuring you're successful in this complex martial art. They work hard to create a team environment and ensure you feel like you're part of a community, not just a gym to sweat in. There is a lot of talent of all levels to spar with if that is an interest as well as a lot of bags if you simply just want to work on technique and get a good sweat in. Overall, I highly recommend Northwest Fight Academy!
