Expensive and not good. The premium course which costs 50 pretax is quite expensive. Yet I don't find the meat better than other hot pot places which cost less. The soup base is also very weak, which tastes like flavored water. They do have some sea food selections. The vegetables are so so. I stopped eating not because I was full, just because I got bored. There were very few waiters. Although they were friendly, it was quite hard to get their attention or service. The environment is okay. Although I appreciate it, I must point out that the ultraviolet lights which they apply everywhere do nothing against Covid-19.

The food smelled delicious and the whole concept seemed really fun. However we didn't ever even get to be seated before we'd had enough with the wait time. We put our name on a list and were told an hour or so wait, that was fine with us. On the app it told us to come back right around the hour mark so we did and then we waited for another 50 minutes and there were still 2 other parties ahead of us waiting to be seated. We finally decided just to cut our loss and leave since no one appeared to be leaving and having 2 other parties that needed to also be seated still waiting we figured it be at least another hour if we were lucky. I'm sure the food is good and we still would really like to try it but they need to be more realistic about their wait times because saying an hour and then it being almost 2 hours and still not being seated (or even the next people on the list) that's a pretty big gap.

I have been a lot sense the re opening now. We always get treated nicely. The whole staff is always moving checking up on everyone seeing if anyone needs something. The quality of the food is amazing and to wrap it up nicely at the end they give you some of the best ice cream. Always an enjoyable experience.

Delightful food. You get a choice of broth, a choice of normal or premium meat (all you can eat), a large bar of vegetables, mushrooms, seafood, and other goodies to cook in your broth, and different dipping sauces. Very tasty. Will go again!

The staffs are really friendly, but need more staffs to accommodate the customers at night. They are really busy. The wagyu steaks are amazing, the soups are delicious especially after all the ingredients have been marinating in it. They take attentative care to keep the customers safe from covid contamination. A lot of different choices at the buffet bar

The service is always friendly and amazing. The owner works so hard and takes care of you. My fiancé and I had an amazing time here. The quality of the meal was absolutely amazing. Would try to get the premium ACYE! Definitely worth it! For all you shabu lovers, this is the place in Seattle to go to!

having an AYCE option already sets this place apart from most - although, if you have a smaller appetite it may not be worth it. However I do love the setup of buffet style get all the veggies and cold stuff yourself and they bring out cuts of meat of your choice separately (more sanitary that way). High quality cuts and great service from the owner himself hustling and bustling around. He's got a great story of how he opened up shop and I love that he takes his time with each table to ensure everyone is happy. It's not the cheapest option when dining here and going for the high qualities of meat compared to other places but rather on par with everyone else - again what sets them apart is having all you can eat, which is only beneficial if you can eat a couple platters of meat. The only reason for a docked star is personal preference, whilst many other hot pot places gives you multiple soup stocks to eat - Shaburina only allows one stock, so choose wisely or go with enough people that allows you to try different flavors. Personally I wasn't blown away by the soup stock itself - it was just missing something that didn't create a memorable flavor for me, but it was made up in service and quality of ingredients. Would def come back to try other flavors sooner than later.
