The hospitality was caring and genuine. Although I’m not a member of the Church that the Monastery is affiliated with, I felt a deep bond of community and faith with everyone I encountered. The emphasis on contemplation and silence really helped me to recover a lost place with God. The beauty of the mountain was profound and I still carry it with me. Thank you Monks of Mt Tabor for sharing the love of our good God with me.

Beautiful setting in the mountains; very peaceful and spiritual place. They practice the Eastern Catholic Rite, which is a bit unfamiliar to me as a Roman Catholic... but I became familiar with it rather quickly. Great place to retreat and become closer to God
