It’s difficult to find a customer-centric business nowadays, but Schagrin is the rare diamond. I switched my propane to Schagrin a few years ago and have had outstanding service ever since. Additionally, their annual service contract gives me peace of mind that my furnace, A/C, and hot water tank are all functioning properly. Recently, my A/C unit required replacement. Marc provided a no-hassle contract, coordinated the install, and followed up to ensure everything met my expectations. When follow-up service was required, I didn’t even have to provide anyone with a reminder. When it’s time to replace my furnace, I know who to call. In my opinion, Schagrin is the best heating and air company in this region.

We recently had Schagrin Gas Company retrofit our old gas log fire place insert with a new unit from Mendota. All the work performed was top-notch and exceeded our expectations. Both the installers from Schagrin, as well as Schagrin's masonry and carpentry subcontractor (Jeff Eby), were professional, courteous and patient. We would highly recommend them to anyone.
My elderly mothers heat had quit working. It was cold out and I was concerned I would have to get her out of the house. I called the Rehoboth Schagrin and talked to Marc Frey. I explained the situation to him. They had a technician there within a couple of hours. Unfortunately the old system wasn’t worth repairing and the only option was a new system. Marc had a quote to me that day and they started removing the system that day. The next day they were installing the new system and had it operating . In the mean time they brought electric heaters to her house to help keep her warm. They went above and beyond. Sorry for the long post but it was a stressful time for my mother and they made it stress free as it turned out.
I just had a fireplace install in Rehoboth Beach by the SchagrinGAS and Jeff Eby teams. Both did great work and were very professional. I am very please with the fireplace. It is like I have a brand new living room.
Get your propane somewhere else. These guys overcharge and in the business of thieving.
