Very nice. We only did a short hike on the Scenic Spur trail. It was enjoyable even though we didn't make it to the waterfall this time. We made it to the first (it looks like the map indicates multiple crossings on this trail) crossing of Rocky Creek. It honestly didn't look too difficult, we just didn't want to do it with our two year old and infant. Definitely will be back!

Clemmer Trailhead is well marked with State Forest signs and access is easy to find off hwy 30, take hwy 64 along Parksville Lake just past Ranger Station you'll see Hwy 30 shortly on your left turn left here proceed 100 yards turn left to parking area you will see the signs. If you're heading to Rainbow Falls follow the signs that say to Falls they Do Not say to (Rainbow Falls). The trail for the most part follows a creek after about 1/2 mile from parking area and you will cross it twice so you might be prepared to get your feet wet. There are actually 3 Falls that make up Rainbow Falls, you will readily see the first 2 lower Falls. At second Falls notice lightly travelled path up around bluff to the left follow it up around bluff and down backside this short scramble over these rocks is well worth your time and effort because the most breathtaking Falls is above the first two. Also this trail is extremely rocky and filled with roots so just be aware. I hope you enjoy these beautiful Falls and take a moment to wade in the cool waters your feet will love you for it.
