We walked into this place after riding for hours. The owners were making muscadine jelly when we walked in. The place smelled amazing. We bought some snacks and enjoyed them on the river down the steps behind their store. Super friendly staff. Amazing history. Cute store with everything you could need. I recommend stopping here.

7 of us had a great time floating down the Hiwassee River. We were taken up river, best ride, in the back of a big truck. You meet fun people on the river and it is a great time. We go down the river as often as we can. Webb's is a great historical business.

I do not recommend this service if you have your own personal raft and life jacket. If they are not busy they will try to charge you 25 just for a one way shuttle up. It is ridiculous and not worth the money. We drove all the way up there just to turn around. To me, 10 is better than 0. It is normally supposed to be 5 per person if you have your own equipment.
These are some of the friendliest people around. We try to make it kayaking down the hiwassee a couple times a month and they make it happen. They also rent tubes, kayaks, rafts, anything to get you going. You can catch a ride or bring your own floating device and they will haul it as well. Great people that I would highly recommend.
