Hidden gem! Extremely family friendly and fun galore! The beach is beautiful and very clean and the staff in every location (park entrance, rental hut, grounds) were wonderful and friendly. We rented one of the cabins for 5 days and really enjoyed ourselves. The one downside is the cabin wasn't the cleanest when we checked in, but due to current times, we brought our own cleaning supplies anyway. The bathroom/shower buildings were kept well stocked and were cleaned daily. At the lake we rented jet skis two different days and a pontoon boat and the staff were very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. We highly recommend this place and will be back!

My family had a blast renting the paddle boards! Will definitely be back.

Gorgeous campsites next to the lake. Some have better shade than others. There a loot of great shade trees all around. The end of the camp ground also has a concession stand with basics and fire wood. AND they have water sport rentals as well. Great fun. Good prices. Our young kids loved the paddle boards.

BEWARE! First and last rental! We rented a 2 person wave runner for 2 hours. From the get go they gave us a rental that wasn't even available, so we had to wait for them to sort that all out. From the moment we took it out and started accelerating outside the no-wake zone, it was super sluggish. Once you got up to a certain speed it was fine, but every time you slowed down or stopped and had to get going again it took about 10 seconds or so. I thought it odd, but chalked it up to an older machine. I am a wave runner owner and know how it should go. So I was the first to use it, and the last when I returned it. I should have said something when I returned it, but apparently that would not have made a difference. I received a call about an hour or so after returning it (as I was packing my car to return home out of state) from an employee stating that they had bad news that the customers after us took the wave runner out just to return it saying it was acting up. I would be charged 90 because when they pulled the machine out of the water, they found a rock and we were the only ones that could have done it. I assured them that there was no way it could have been us...that the wave runner did not go into anything less than 4 feet of water. I spoke with the manager and basically they had to point the finger at someone, and that was me. He said they pull the machines out of the water every night and inspect them, and that we were the first ones to use it that day, so it had to be us. There was no way he was going to put any blame on his employees. I was told that even if I had told them upon return that it was having issues during initial acceleration, that I still would have been charged. I have about 15 family members who are witnesses to our experience. This has left a very bad taste in our mouths for this rental company. BEWARE, you may be charged for something you didn't do!!

This beach itself is a great one at Bear Lake. I've grown up having family reunions here. So I've seen the lake at full capacity and this beach front small and I've seen it really low where you had to drive out on the beach to get to the water. The day use area often gets crowded and a bit less than ideal. People should be considerate of those around them and not blast music, cook food that may bother others, play games that invade others "space." If you camp at Rendezvous State Park the beach areas there are much less crowded than the day use area! I've also seen the beach front covered in catamarans and small sail boat. Now it's wave runners, paddle boards, and inflatable things galore. The rental rates on boats and wave runners are reasonable, but bring your own gas if you want to save a little money as they'll charge quite a bit for it. The other things are well priced. A favorite of my families is that you can get shakes and food from the Laketown Drive-in trailer on site. It's usually less crowded than going to a place in Garden City.

Such a scam. I rented a 2 people jetski and it flipped the minute we got out. We were in the water for 30 mins and nobody was helping us and they were not answering the phone. They charged me 375 for drowning for 30mins. False advertising and bad customer service.

We rented a pontoon boat and a towable raft. It was such a great way to get out on the lake, where you can really see the amazing colors of the water. The pontoon has enough power to pull, room to stand up, hang out, have lunch, etc. Everything went smoothly with Rendezvous Beach Rentals and we had no complaints. The prices were reasonable and actually cheaper then other, smaller, lakes. We'll be back again soon.
