This community is so welcoming and amazing. The living space is comfortable and spacious. The amenities are wonderful, the staff have all been friendly, and our dogs are comfortable here too. We are excited to live here for a while.

Terrible and getting worse by the day. They say they are a pet friendly building but that is just words. The management recently put out a notice saying pet owners can use only the back entrance. Pets are not allowed in the main hallway of the building. So all pet owners must use the service entrance, feels like discrimination against pet owners. The salt they use in winter is not pet safe and this salt can be harmful for pets. Tenants smoke in the stairwell and in their apartment, creating a fog of second hand smoke of each floor. Even after multiple complaints; the management has done NOTHING to resolve this issue. The management seems to be more focused on which elevator and entrance pet owners can take as opposed to fixing a hazardous illegal activity such as smoking inside the building. They charge 50/month for reserved parking spots, somehow mistakenly believing this is Hoboken instead of Lyndhurst. The parking spots in the front of the building are reserved for retail customers going to the bar. Meaning people who live here have no priority for convenience, unless they shell out more money each month. The notice says communication must be civil. Except the female new hire is rude and aggressive when speaking with tenants. Her tone is unprofessional, she is impatient and speaks with anger in her voice. Take your money elsewhere. This place is not where you want to live.

Great location and neighborhood, it’s an older building there is no security, or working cameras in all area of the complex, parking lot is a mess, cleaning crew is two people who do the best they can, but this area needs a lot of improvement. Apartments are a nice size with good closet space. It’s pet friendly which is awesome, sadly not all residents/ pet owners clean up after their pets and it’s a mess, management needs to enforce pet clean up policy. New Owners are slowly updating, fresh paint, updating appliances very slowly. I suggest visiting, ask questions and maybe even speak with tenants if possible before you make a decision.

Super Friendly staff, Easy to communicate, fast response to maintenance request. Very cleaned and well managed in public area. Reasonable price on rent.

Jasper and the rest of the team @ Renew/Heritage have been nothing but inviting and warm. The whole process of applying for an apartment was very transparent and smooth. I would definitely recommend Renew Lyndhurst to anyone looking for an apartment in the area.
