Such beautiful property and trails, and solemn reminder of the war what was fought on this ground. This property is well maintained. The trails are nice kept up with gravel. The longest loop is about 2 miles with moderate inclines. There's a pavilion at the end of the road into the park. There's several picnic tables in the shade and pit toilets. There is no tap water available here. Please be sure to plan ahead and bring water.

I won't let the noise from the nearby highway reduce the number of stars this place deserves! Nice trails, not too busy, easy to get too. Will return!

Nice quiet place to walk. Not a lot to see or do but great for nature lovers and interesting to think of the sad history that occurred here

This is such a great little park! When we went, it was extremely clean and quiet. Lots of trails to hike. The informative signs were so well done too (sequenced well, good info for kids, etc.). I came away feeling like I really understood how the battle took place. I’m so impressed with how clean everything is and how well constructed facilities are too. Whoever built and maintains this should be commended. Well done!

It's hard to believe this was my project 7 years ago. I'm glad to see that they finally got it open to the public. I wish they would add more information on the battle that took place and how it changed the course of the war. Very beautiful and a good days hike to look at all the historical sites.
