The Residential Learning Community is my home away from home. It is a beautiful, peaceful place to live in. Living here not only helps with your academics, like never being late to class, but it allows a student to take full advantage of any events held by TAMIU. It also an excellent opportunity to meet people and form lasting connections with them. I am happy to live here.

I have had a wonderful experience living here on campus. I was scared to leave my family behind but I can definitely say this is home away from home. The staff are amazing, they will always help you and make you feel welcome! Definitely recommend coming and staying here for anyone that is afraid to leave their home too.

Living at the RLC has my made my college experience the best thing that has happened to me. As a local I was worried that I would not get the “full college experience”, but living on campus has helped generate the experience that I hoped for. I also really love my RA, Sanchez 1st Floor!!

My experience was very poor. Minus the student employees, the bosses are not very helpful. They are very money hungry and don't believe in working with others. Beware for any out of state people, they honestly do not care for your well being. Even if you have a mental illness or disability, they honestly could care less. Even if its a first violation or for non- payment they will look for any reason to evict. Then even when you're evicted they still demand payment for fall and spring semester as if you were still occupying the unit. Then they also want the money on the day you leave. I definitely do not recommend this place to any one. Period. Plus the only people that leave these "good" reviews are the student employees.

The Residential Learning Community feels like home. Everyone is very welcoming and it is easier to interact with people. However, there are a few things that can be changed such as more laundry machines but other than that everything else is fine.

Living on campus has been a wonderful experience. Everyone is so welcoming and the activities that the RLC provides makes you feel more at home. You get a sense of diversity meeting different people. I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay on campus!
