Assisting Hands Reston (Ellen Hughes) came highly recommended when my wife needed home care. They did not disappoint. The Caregivers Ellen provided were outstanding, provided all the assistance my wife needed and also did other non-expected items like cooking and housecleaning as time permitted. When my wife's conditioned worsened, Ellen quick added additional staff. All of her staff were outstanding. I couldn't give them any less than 5 stars!

We used Assisting Hands in Reston for 2 separate needs. First, they provided a caretaker to stay with my 97 year old father while we went on a two week vacation. Later, they provided a caretaker to help me with my husband who had brain cancer. Ellen Hughes and the other staff members I had contact with are professional and pleasant to work with. The two caretakers were competent, and I had confidence in the care they gave both my father and husband. I had no worries about leaving my loved ones under their care. and felt that they were well supervised. Ellen quickly provided me with all of the documentation I needed to file a claim with my husband's long-term care insurance. I highly recommend Assisting Hands.

Finding Assisting Hands was the best discovery I’ve found. I recently had to have outpatient surgery so I needed a ride to and from the clinic. I wasn’t allowed to just take a cab or Uber. I hated to ask my friends to take time off from their jobs. Assisting Hands came to my rescue. So if you just need a ride for an outpatient surgery they are the best. They walked me into my house and got me settled and made sure I was going to be ok. I just wish I had contacted them for other surgeries I had before. Using Assisting Hands took so much of the stress out of my day. I will definitely be using them again.
