Dr.Hersh delivered my son in mid 2017 and she is absolutely the best. Her staff are sweet and efficient. They greet you by your first name the moment you walk in the door. My pregnancy was a smooth one, so I'd been seeing nurses until maybe 32 weeks, when Dr.Hersh started to see me. She felt that my bump was slightly on the big side, so she sent me to do an extra ultrasound to measure the baby's weight and scheduled an induction at 40-week for me. Turned out, my labor started naturally at 38-week. I called Dr.Hersh in the middle of the night as the contractions getting closer, and her soft, calm and patient tone gave me a lot comfort and confidence. One thing worth noting, I delivered my daughter without epidural (by chance, a long story) with another Dr. before we moved to this area. So I started out with the mindset that I can and want to do epidural-free this time. Dr.Hersh, however, recommended me to consider it and gave me some good reasons. She was right. From being admitted to the hospital, to the time my son being delivered, it's a long 6-hour. Cannot imagine what it would be like without epidural. Dr.Hersh arrived at my delivery room at 7am, in about three guided pushes, my son was in my arms. Dr.Hersh is highly skillful, professional, and we found her very likable.
