I have two daughters at laurel learning center (6 & 3) we have been coming to Laurel for almost 2 years this fall. I appreciate the inclusiveness, diversity, and warm welcoming reception that laurel offers. The staff are all amazing and hardworking!!!!! As a parent it’s always nice to see comfort and joy in your children and when I drop my girls off they truly feel just that. The staff and teachers truly care and they always take the initiative to make sure that as a parent you’re included in every experience your child has at the center. (I have a shoebox full of memories). This provides so much comfort as a single mom, to feel like I’m not missing anything during the day. I also love laurels determination when it comes to engaging the children with activities and introducing them to new adventures. From field trips, swimming pools, to Disney princesses, my girls always come home with stories to share and that warms my heart. The staff and Mrs. Courtney (Director of the center) have always been great with answering any questions or concerns, and if anything occurs with my children;(trips and falls) I have always been updated or given a phone call. I’ve never questioned the staff’s ability to provide a safe environment for my children. My gratitude and love for laurel comes from seeing how much my daughters enjoy going there and just the bond they have with their teachers and staff. That’s all you can ask for as a mom. I encouraged all parents to check out Laurel if their looking for childcare. It’s a safe environment full of growth, adventure, and love.

After reading such rediculous reviews i would like to leave a real review. Yes accidents happen and children have a hard time adapting as they transition to other classrooms. I am a soldier a father and a husband and i have spent several off hours at this day care to see just how attentive and caring and constructive the agendas are for the kids. I now have a new born and he’s 2 weeks away from joining his brother there. Every class has proper paper work to be filled out on a child. Proper codes to follow by state, proper sanitation etc which i have seen first hand. This is a great institution and for most people a benefit since it is a non profit organization. I thank the staff from director Courtney to the teachers as well that all take good care of my son who has accelerated his ability to learn new things and always come home safe. For everyone that’s a parent and doesn’t write a honest review and only write about one bad moment please remember you chose the school for such a long time for a reason. If you felt the way you did it wouldn’t take you years to write a bad review. Respect the ment and women who take care of your children while your working or not. Thank you laurel learning center. I am 34 years old and i was a student under some of the same staff.

Son broke femur bone here due to teachers not paying attention correctly. Staff didn't call 911 and were bouncing him on their laps while femur is broke and he was in pain. They gave me multiple stories about what happened. And we're never clear about the story. Multiple friends who have sent their kids here have also come to the light about injuries and incident reports and staff yelling at children (toddler room) . I've also eye witnessed this. Also not very constructive for the little guys. Not much stimulation or learning. Just a lot of running around while staff sit back. They also would keep calling me while I was at college or trying to study saying my son HAD to have a bottle when he already graduated to sippy cups. They are not good at adapting to the needs of children.
