Be aware of hidden charges at this center. I got a phone call before my son's surgery to discuss the expenses since I don't have insurance for surgery. I was advised that the given price is just an estimate, So if doctor needs to do some extra work during surgery I will be billed later. I got a bill after one month and the amount was more than the surgery itself. The charged me almost 1,000 for nerve blocking. And that was done before they took him to OR. I was there with my son and nobody discuss the charges. They have people to call and collect the money, but they don't think a patient deserve an explanation in advance. All they said was that they are sorry and can help me to set up a payment plan. very disappointed. After Reading your reviews on Yelp I felt better since I am not the only one you treated this way. We are people not your ATM machine.

I am so totally Pleased and Surprised when I received a Get Well Card from the Staff who helped during my Surgical Procedure !

I get a call NOT ever 24 hours before my surgery saying I owe \estimate\ 1,055 at checkin. OMG! I work for medical office and I was proactive checking my insurance plan/coverage. Finds out this surgery center doesn't have their rates with UHC and they are extremely higher for cataract surgery. My insurance carrier said when she called the surgery center to get additional information, the person on the phone was upset/rude to her. I was told by my ophthalmologist biller (who made my appointment 2 months in advance) that surgery center will call me, should I have a payment due. I was thinking ok, I'm all set - I paid my ophthalmologist and all is good. Then I get a call saying I owe 1.055. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL to tell a patient at the last minute. I don't have that money - I'm a part time worker and its Covid. I love my surgeon but I don't like how the surgery center works.

I had the most wonderful experience here. I was treated so nicely from the registration desk, the nurses that prepped me for surgery (making sure to answer all my questions), my doctor/surgeon, Dr. Steven Gordon, was fabulous! The aftercare staff was also so pleasant and made me feel comfortable. What impressed me the most was the 2 phone calls and 2 cards I received from the center asking how I was doing, and wishing me well for the future. That is really going ABOVE AND BEYOND. Thank you!!
