Friday I was scheduled for the vasectomy. At 1100 they took me back and prepped me for the surgery, I was left alone in the room for so long I fell asleep and woke up around 1. Nurse came around when I had to pee and it seemed like they had forgotten about me, she went to check and I was then I was brought into the surgery room. The Doc prescribed some pain killers for the weekend and to my surprise the prescription never made it to my pharmacy. That afternoon I was on the phone with their nurse and she blamed the pharmacy, so she asked the doctor to send it to another nearby. The prescription never made it to either place. Saturday I called again, in just a little pain, the same nurse was on call and started to apologize profusely. They claimed an IT issue and would get back to me. It is now Monday and I haven’t received a call. Whenever I try to call the doctor’s office the automatic response is “all of our representatives are busy, please call back in 10 minutes”. Mondays must be busy days. In the end: it’s been 4 days since the procedure, I haven’t had much pain. The pain meds probably would have only given me a couple more hours sleep. Beware the morning wood! The on-call nurse Friday and Saturday was nice. The Doctor was good and as far as I can tell the surgery went well. The organization seems rather…well….Unorganized. Not sure if this is a normal occurrence.

I used to like this group, as the Doctor was good. But over the course of the past six months: - they \scheduled\ me for a follow up visit but then never confirmed the appointment. When I called to confirm the day before, they had no record of the appointment. - when I called them, they said \by the way\ that my doctor wasn't there for the rest of the summer.

I would rate 0 star if exist. So lazy people. After a week and too many calls still haven’t got Dr’s advise though while its was an urgent case.

I went two times and I never saw a Doctor just nurse. I have a kidney stone and they gave an appointment for one month. I went to the appointment on time, and I was prepared for the nurse and I was waiting for more than an hour, and they put anestesia for the procedure and the Doctor never came. But the worst part is that they rescheduled my appointment over a month. Almost 2 months. Ican Not believe It. I don't recommend those doctors at all.

I've been getting care at the Urology Group for the last few months. I was diagnosed with something that likely is an after effect from COVID19. Nevermind that most doctors are still hanging their hats on negative COVID19 results and explaining away your symptoms (high false negatives)... I definitely have been struggling with COVID19. I've been working with Jennifer Mendrysa. She was very helpful in the beginning. But as the weeks have turned into months, and the treatment and care and medicines I've been prescribed have not resolved my condition, they're definitely getting more frustrated and impatient with me. Getting in touch with a nurse practitioner or ANYONE on the phone is a job in it of itself. I called on Thursday and on Friday and finally got someone on the phone Friday afternoon. I told them that the antibiotics they prescribed were out and my condition/pain started up again and needed advice on what to do. The receptionist was unhelpful. The receptionist (while I was on the call with her) told me that Jennifer Mendrysa (my NP) was actually calling her back and told me she would relay my questions and concerns to her. The receptionist got back on the phone with me, and told me, \She said there's nothing more we can do for you. We'll send you a script to go to a physical therapist.\ Guess what? That script never arrived. And a DOCTOR'S OFFICE'S response is \There's nothing more we can do for you.\? Seriously? I'm done with this place. I will seek out a more competent, helpful, and human urology practice that actually cares for their patients. And I just called again this morning asking for all my results/paperwork so I can give them to my new urologist. Only some of it is up on the patient portal. They said they can fax it (LOL really?) or snail mail it (really?) but they can't upload it or email it due to security concerns. And faxing is secure? It's 2020. Why are we still faxing things?

Dr. Starks provided excellent care and had good bedside manor. I would highly recommend him and the urology group for medical care. The previous reviews did not do this place justice!
