Oh my goodness, a visit to Mill Creek Farm to visit all the horses is something the whole family will enjoy! Perhaps you'll meet Mary Gregory who, with her husband, started all of this rescue many years ago. Such a wonderful lady, so very interesting! You can feed the horses carrots, apples, even peeled bananas, they will love tough for it. I highly recommend a visit to Mill Creek farm, memories in the making!

Absolutely amazing. I love horses so much and my boyfriend took me here for our anniversary. He hadn’t ever been around horses (especially this many!!!) before. We bought a 5lbs bag of carrots from the grocery store right out of the farm. The people were super nice to us and explained everything about the place, types of horses, and about their purpose there. Simply beautiful animals and views here. But watch out for the spiders! They are really big and show up (of course) in the more densely wooded areas. If you plan to go, bring your hiking boots, and lots of water and bug spray. You can also use one of their golf carts to get around as well! The property is simply beautiful. Definitely worth the time to visit. For both the people who don’t love horses and the people who love them.

Such a great place to visit. Bring more carrots than you think you'll need. My husband and I just cut our carrots into big pieces to share with the retired/rescued horses. They are only open on Saturday and there is lots of walking space, but the overall terrain does contain hills. Families had wagons and strollers. There was a table that could be used for cutting apples, but we just brought carrots, less sticky.

Absolutely the best way to spend a Saturday! What a magnificent place. Mary and Paul do a tremendous job on this horse sanctuary. The horses all are wonderful and love their Saturday carrots, apple slices, bananas and watermelon chunks! Great place to get back the nature and to bring any age child. The horses are gentle. 350 acres and 125 horses. Highly recommend this for a day trip. Admission is 2 carrots each person but my husband and I bring 25 pounds of carrots, 3 bags of sliced apples and 2 containers of watermelon chunks. We bring a back pack but some others pull wagons.

So much fun for families to feed and pet horses. Bring carrots, bananas and apples since different horses have different diets.

The farm was beautiful and what a great cause. 150 horses on 335 acres. We walked for 2 hours looking at and feeding the horses. Went through a 4 lb. Bag of apples and bags of carrots. The horses were so thankful. This is a must go.
