I was on the USA team a few years ago and danced in this festival. It was an experience I will never forget. To see all the different countries come together in dance and community was a beautiful and surreal experience. One I think must be had by everyone. It opens your eyes to see that the world really is not that big. That we can all find common ground regardless of language. I will cherish my memories of this dance festival forever.

I got to participate in this folk festival in 2011 and it was a life changing experience for me. I gained so many new friends and loved learning from and getting to know the other people from all over the world! I love how it brings people together and creates a sense of unity. I really feel like I became a better person after being apart of this event. I will forever be grateful for the experiences I had there.

Idaho International Dance Festival

This is the defining event of the summer for Rexburg and the surrounding communities. How many areas get the opportunity to host dancers from around the world, interact and learn from them, and get to see some spectacular, world-class International dance shows? We love the workshops, parades, parties and performances. Rexburg is so lucky to have this event! It’s our favorite thing to do every summer!

We loved being a host family. We cried when our dancers left. They bonded with our children. They Cooked food for us and thanked us over and over. The festival is great for our family to attend and our kids love going to the children's dance day at Madison high school where they learn dances from other countrys and perform them onstage with the international dancers. We have only lived in Rexburg a few years and have already made the festival an annual tradition.
