The intake person at the desk and answering telephones is absolutely horrible and needs a course in customer service as well as knowledge about what the nurses do. I surely hope no one needs to make a call with questions nor to have those questions answered. It’s unfortunate there isn’t a nurse on duty that can just sit and take calls I get that it’s in the middle of a pandemic and I get that nurses are in high demand I guess the best resort is calling Google. Customer relations needs to re-train the individuals that answer the phone.

Wife was in a car accident and sent to Methodist Richardson Medical Center Emergency Room. We later received a notice that EMCare had sent us to a collection agency without ever sending us a bill beforehand. EMCare never answers their phone to work on the matter as we have health insurance that pays for this event. will not provide documentation of what services were performed nor answer their phone. Who is this provider and what services did they perform? Is this some kind of scam run off the books by one of the providers?

Horrible experience here more than once. My son came here via ambulance and they’ve done NOTHING. 6 hours later and they don’t care about any one of the people sitting here. This is really the worst hospital ever! Worse than Parkland in Dallas. Will NEVER come here again!

Believe the reviews! Go elsewhere. Numerous patients left before they were called back. Do not reward a facility who refuses to staff its ER. I left after 2.5 hrs with a chemical burn to my eye but was never seen. I've worked in ER's for many yrs. Not the staff's fault, they were nice. Triage could have been better but they seemed overwhelmed. (Never looked at my eye) Apparently an ongoing problem that they don't care much about. Sad.

The service was very fast and excellent. I don’t know why people insult the people who worked here. The doctor is really nice. The staff who brought me to X-Ray room is professional and kindness. Here is my activity’s tracking in this hospital: 12:41 pm - arriving 12:50 pm - fill the form 1:20 pm - basic check up(blood pressure, Pulse, etc) 2:00 p.m. - doctor calling 2:15 p.m. - x-ray 3:00 p.m. - sign document and walk out from emergency room

Patients - seriously just go to medical city. Waited for 2 hours here before going to Medical City Plano and having our daughter taken care of within 30 minutes. Methodist, stop commenting on everyone’s post with the customer service line and just STAFF YOUR ER.
