This is such a great place to go and study. I just recently moved 10 minutes further, but I still drive to this library when I have a lot of homework to get done. I love the quietness, helps get in the zone.

A historic four story library in the city of Richardson. All the typical library offerings are here like books, DVDs, music cds, and more. The selection of these items are quite good being that this is one of the bigger libraries around the area. Of course, you'll need to have a library card to take advantage of the media available. They also offer classes on computers and other subjects. There's also artwork on display from local artists on different floors. If you're a book worm or just want to see a nice library, I suggest you drop by.

Nice library open right now to Richardson residents. When we arrived on the “quiet” floor and were instructed that we had to be quiet although we made absolutely no noise, we experienced nothing but disruptions from others and staff speaking through our whole visit. I hope this changes. It is a great library!

Service is very poor. I got books for curbside pickup and the customer service was terrible and they were very rude. No one made a point to even smile or be nice. They said rude things and it was overall extremely unpleasant. Very upset with the staff and their attitudes.

This is a first rate public library. There's a focus on the childrens area, which is split into a main area and a YA section. The former has large stuffed animals based on storybook characters and toys such as duplo. The latter is dark, and contains a selection of anime/manga as well as other YA stuff. A large reference library is located in the basement.
