Passionate, knowledgeable and caring are just a few of the many positive words I would use to describe Michael Popovici as a Relationship Coach. My consultation was intensely productive and gave me hope (and a plan) for the future. A huge thanks, as well, to Taralea for her warmth in receiving my no doubt disjointed phone call and helping me connect with Michael in a very troubled time. Kim Bowen seems to have really done her homework and put together an A-list of team of relationship experts. I cannot wait to undertake the difficult work ahead with Michael guiding the way for me, and hopefully, my wife.

Sara - I just wanted to send a note your way to thank you for last Monday. I really appreciated that session and I can tell with my wife during the last few days that suddenly this \undescribable\ problem we have had for 14 years is starting to become quite describable - as well as very manageable and hopeful! I did not know that this issue hit so close to home for you, but I have so much respect for how you are able to take God's grace and beauty through that and do SO much good in the world with people like my wife and me. Again, very I am so very appreciative of this and what you have been doing is close to my heart. I just wanted to say again God Bless you and of course we still have some ways to go, haha, so I will see you Monday! :)

I am writing this review specifically in regards to Michael Popovici. My husband and I have been working with Michael bi-weekly for many months now and our relationship has deepened on so many levels as a result. We were really struggling when we met him and I can honestly say that has changed significantly. Michael's genuine compassion coupled with his intuitive savvy allows us both to feel safe and secure with ourselves and with each other during each session. The beneficial results linger in a palpable way between sessions. It's truly challenging putting into mere words how much we appreciate who Michael is and what he has been able to accomplish with us. We are a loving, communicative and happy couple again because of the work we've done with him.

We saw Eric Tooley (who no longer works there) for 4 out of the last 5 years. During that time we did couples counseling as well as individual counseling for both of us. Initially I think we both felt we were getting a lot out of it, learned new skills, and improved our communication. As time went on, we continued to have many of the same issues. They're was a lot of emotional abuse in our marriage, and while it was acknowledged and addressed, I have since learned that most best practices in counseling suggest individual counseling when there's abuse going on, and no couples counseling. Individually I am so grateful to Eric for the work I did on boundaries. It changed my whole perspective on life and relationships, and allowed me to find the courage to leave my marriage eventually. If you are in an abusive relationship I'm not sure this is the place to go. The adamant pro-marriage stance kept me in my marriage longer than I should have stayed, while we continued to spend thousands of dollars some months for counseling, and over the entire time we spent 10 of 1000s of dollars. Several years ago I remember reading one of Kim's blog posts that said counseling was surely cheaper than the average divorce of 15k, and started laughing out loud, as even then we'd spent far more on counseling than that.
