Beautiful atmosphere! Clean lake with a well manicured wooded area with small creek and picnic tables in just the right places. The fishing was very pleasant.

If you want to catch a million bluegill it's great, wife and kid had a great time.
Not really worth fishing. Its quiet, it has a beaver, you can chill. The fish seem like growth is stunted.
Brushwood Lake is not a big lake, you can walk around it easily, That being said I enjoyed fishing there. The reasons I like this lake, 1) Is because of it's bottom, silty with grass, leaves and some rock piles. I fish mostly artificial lures and you can fish crankbaits, swimbaits, jigs and spinners as well as top water and bobber here. The first time I fished this lake I hooked 3 bass, one of which was over 3lbs. 2) The facility is well kept, clean and safe, I've seen Summit County Rangers or Staff each time I've gone there. 3) It's peaceful with not only a lake but also trails to walk.
