I brought in about 5 pairs of jeans to be hemmed. Very reasonably priced n they were done n done well, within a week's time. I'll be bringing all my alterations to her in the future.

I went here last summer to have about a dozen new pants hemmed. They did a great job and the pants look great. Both dress pants and a few jeans. I would say that you have to call first to make sure they are done. My date slipped 1 day so I am glad I didn't drive there first. You do have to pay all up front. I think it should be half down and half when you pick up. Overall happy and will use them again.
I went to Richfield tailors because it is nearby my house. I came in last week to have two pants hemmed and one waist taken in. I asked if I pay now or later. She printed the receipt and I paid. I came to pick up and they told me I owed 17 more for the waist. She told me she forgot to charge me and if I don't want to pay for it she will take it out. I told her that I did not bring my wallet in but I do not think I should pay this as I wasn't quoted it in the beginning. I asked her not to take it out because it will ruin my pants and asked that she cover the cost and it was her mistake. She instead took it out and gave it back to me!
Called me last minute after they had already had my coat for a week and pushed back pick up another day. When I came in the next day and hour after they said it would be ready, they were just starting it and I had to make yet another trip. Finally when I got home with my coat the back had a lot of loose strings I had to trim off. However the lady did stay a little after closing time for me to pick up my coat (on the third attempt) so I give them 2 stars. Coat looks great (after the trimming) service was poor.
I went in on 7/18/16 to drop off curtains that were 84 inches and needed to be trimmed & hemmed to 44 in. The lady that helped me took my info, curtains(wrote the new measurements on a piece of paper and pinned it to the curtains) & my money. She asked when I would pick them up and I said Wed 7/20/16 @ 6pm. She said okay. I totally forgot and called on Thursday to say I'd be in. She wasn't there and when the person that answered my call reached out to contact her, he told me that they weren't even done...REALLY?!? I was finally able to collect my finished curtains today 7/22/16. The curtains look good overall & I'll probably go back. I just wish that they would've been done on time even though I did forget to pick them up on time. The standard of good customer service is up to the business to uphold...not the customer paying for the service provided.
My experience with this place was terrible. I went in to get a suit tailored for a friends wedding. I took my suit in on June 5th and was scheduled to pick it up at 7:00 pm on June 9th. I arrived on June 9th to pick my suit up and the lady working proceeded to ask me to come back in a hour to pick up the suit. When i arrived later that day the suit was still not finished. After getting the suit and trying it on there were a number of problems with the suit. She had taken the length of the pant up but had forgotten to taper the legs. The way she took my waist in was from the back so when sitting i looked like i had a bubble of water at the front of my pants. She also cut the belt loop off leaving no belt loop on the entire back of my pants. The suit jacket was a vented suit and with out asking she decided to sew the vent of the suit up making the back of my suit look like it had a straight bar in it. All in all i had to pay another tailor around 90 to redo all of her work and do the work she had forgotten to do. She refused to give me a refund even when presented with evidence of what she had forgotten and began to yell at me. I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! I have been going to Richfield tailors for the past four years. Her work is exceptional and has always met her deadlines for pick ups.
