James, Store Manager at the Richmond, VA location is excellent at helping customers find the perfect furniture for their needs/space. He pulls all his resources together (warehouse inventory etc.) without hesitation and actively searches for you. He is a person of his word who you can trust to be honest, up front and fair. Kim at the same location is patient and helpful. She assists customers with all aspects of transactions. These two make a powerful CORT Furniture team. With that said, we bought several items from James. These included, glass tables, side tables, office recycle bins, leather chair, two sit/stand desks, two Herman Miller chairs and several miscellaneous decorations. One of the desks was missing a power cord and James quickly submitted for approval a new cord to be shipped to our home, as we are 1.5 hours away. Hopefully that item will be here soon. Regardless, everything else has been great. One thing to keep in mind is that sometimes the perfect item may not be readily available. However, you can rest assured that James will continue his search for you but may require some time to do so. James stands by the products sold at this store and we have witnessed he welcomes and respects each customer. He expertly assists in meeting specific requests and/or needs and all at unbeatable fair prices.

My husband and I purchased a chair for our new house at CORT and had a great experience. The staff in the store was very helpful and friendly. We couldn't load the chair in my small car when we found it, so we asked if they could hold it until we closed on our house and brought a larger car. We brought our little SUV, but found it was too small too. They were happy to hold it for us until our moving day a few weeks later when we would have a truck. Very generous! They have a nice selection of slightly used furniture at great prices. We will definitely keep an eye out there when we need more items!
