I hate this company. They are the slowest company ever. Today my neighborhood has our power cut off by 2 other power companies that we don't even use!!!!!! Our power was on and out of nowhere when they arrived it went out, came back on for 5 seconds, went out for a few hours.I called dominion to report the outage and they didnt even know other power companies were here. All For no reason. I cant imagine what its like for others who have to wait longer

I’m sure that all you guys at Dominion usually get bad reviews but not from me . I would like to thank you for extending cut offs due to COVID . I have been waiting for 5 months for unemployment and have not received a penny yet. So thank you for helping out and doing your part if you didn’t help my child would not be able to attend school. I applied for unemployment at the beginning of June and here we are in October and still no money . When I do get it I will pay off my bill in full so thank you for helping out Virginians. Some of us appreciate it.
This company is a monopoly , in any other business this would be illegal. They have no reason to compete therefore no reason to provide reasonable service or improvement. My neighborhood has lost power 54 times this year due to their poor infrastructure and planning. If you want anything done at all with this company and have a complaint don’t contact their 800 as they don’t care about your problems. Contact and file a complaint with the SCC ; if the SCC gets enough they could take action on our ( consumer ) behalf . The monopoly known as dominon energy needs to stop, you literally provide third world power grid in 2020 in the United States .
Absolutely terrible customer service. I have been waiting for them to connect my power for almost 4 months now. We have been living in a hotel with a special needs child for the past month and half now. WE STILL DON'T HAVE POWER. Patrick Giff was the person working on it but he is impossible to get a hold of and for the past two months he has been working on a design with no design to show for. The customer service phone line is terrible and they will not connect you to their supervisor or the person in charge to help you out. TERRIBLE COMPANY AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The worst part is that we have to go through them, there is no other energy company we can get power from.
I have reached out to Va over 5x to get tree cut down that is growning up in the power lines on property that I recently purchased it been 2 months and nothing but the run around from Va Power & poor customer service.....gonna have to reach out to an attorney because they are hold up my renovations and they could careless.
