Absolutely\tfantastic coffee shop. The coffee, pastry, and food selection is great and very high quality along with the service. Additionally, the shop also has a super relaxed atmosphere and unique coffee shop style. There is substantial seating inside and outside in the shop’s side alley which has super neat decoration. Would certainly recommend and will definitely revisit. Great experience!

I went to school for graphic design, so I know good coffee shops when I see them. I love it every time I visit here. The coffee is good and the atmosphere is calming enough to sit down and feel comfy, but energetic enough that it's interesting just watching the goings on. The owners are super nice! I also love how they're so invested in their communities and taking care of the environment by lessening their shop's waste. Lots of recycling and reusing, and donating and volunteering. Great people, great coffee, great place. 5 stars for sure. I recommend Ironclad to all my friends who pass by Richmond :)

Very rude staff and owners, seems to have an ego issue. I love supporting small local businesses, but the guys in here are very rude. I brought to the attention on Yelp that they don’t wear gloves and are too dirty for working with food during a pandemic, and the owner just said i wrote a fake review, but answer me this, does your staff in the kitchen wear gloves? You can see what kind of person runs this place by how he responds to any review under 5 stars. There’s plenty of delicious, more affordable, small family owned coffee shops in Richmond you can go to and enjoy without having a rude misogynistic male ruining your morning. Riverbend Coffee was really good, or blackhand coffee

Psychology degree here. The coffee is outstanding (and I have had it so this is a valid review). It tastes like community involvement mixed with top shelf beans. Look no further, you have found your coffee spot. I have gifted their beans to several friends and they all rave about it being the best coffee they have ever tasted.

I’ve heard only good things about this place. The service and the coffee are both unmatched in this area. If you’re looking for somewhere local with a loving staff and great atmosphere and environment, be sure to check this place out first!! I guarantee you will not regret it.
