Took a knife making class last weekend. Brent and another gentleman instructed the class. Had a blast with our group. Made a knife to clean and dress game. Never had one that fit my hand perfectly when cleaning game. Can't wait to try it out.

Took the forge a knife class on Sat & Sun March 13 & 14, 2021. The instructors were Brent and Gary. The two days were a whirlwind of instruction and hands on forging. Both instructors are extremely knowledgable and ready to assist any and all of their students. To say I enjoyed the class is a huge understatement! I would recommend everyone to take one of the Join or die courses. You will meet some great people, learn the right way to make knives and thoroughly enjoy yourself throughout.
I just picked up two oyster knives that will be heirloom gifts for my sons. Brent's talent as a craftsman and artist is really apparent in his work, while his knives are extremely function and useful. The perfect combo, I highly recommend Join or Die knives.
Had an antique knife from the 1800s that my grandfather found that was passed on to me. Wasn't exactly sure what to do to get it back in working order. Brent invited me to the shop, cleaned up the handle, sharpened the blade, and explained what he was doing along the way. Will definitely be attending a class soon.
I attended Brent's "Drop Point Hunter Class" recently and can't say enough good things about the experience. Brent took his time to teach his students things that you typically wouldn't be taught in a two day entry level course, creating a deeper respect and understanding of the science and art involved when making a knife. His class was not over crowded, there was ample space to work on your knife and receiving assistance when you had a question was not a problem. If you enjoy working with your hands, knives, metalworking, woodworking, or anything where you can get your hands dirty and make something that will last a LIFETIME (the knife and the memories) then you need to attend his class. I'm looking forward to signing up for another very soon!

I thoroughly enjoyed the knife forging class. Brent and Greg were great instructors. I learned a lot, had fun, and walked out with a knife I was proud of. I also enjoyed checking out the various Join Or Die knives in the shop.
