Service is messed up most of the time. I have internet only. I pay for the 500 Mbps. The last 3 weeks it's been averaging 20 Mbps. Service technician s have been here 3 times , last two weeks. Still not working correctly. Another tech. Suppose to be here Monday. We will see if it works correctly after this tech comes. I have had to call a tech several times in the year I have been with mediacom. They don't want to reimburse for their service not working correctly....UPDATE ok, since a different tech. Recommended me geetting. My own wifi cable modem and trying. It ha worked ever since.

160 a month for basic channels and never have service, mediacom sucks save your self the trouble and don’t go through them.
I've had mediacom internet for 3 months now and it is great. 100 mbps for 50.00. With At&t I had maybes 15 mbps for 80.00 after I canceled direct tv.
It's not a perfect service, but what is, they all have problems from time to time, but no other service can match their speeds and rates. Their constantly short on techs which results in long wait times for the customer, but they are hiring/trying. The office in town has friendly staff members and are always polite and understanding, I treat them kindly, knowing others dont. 4 stars is as good as it gets, nothing in this world is perfect.
