Pretty large place. Quick to seat, with as many seats they have. Nothing to fancy, get your menu make your order and within a few minutes a steaming bowl of deliciousness is brought to your table. All your condiments are on the table, including you chopsticks and spoons. Good portions including your little veggie add-ons. Also got an order of shrimp rice rolls. Nice big and plump, perfect for dipping in the peanut sauce with a splash of chili pepper sauce. Good place to get a quick lunch.

Pho So 1 on Broad has been our family favorite since it was first open. I would give them a five stars, but last two times when we ordered takeouts, we had to wait for a very long time for the food to be ready even after we called ahead. My kids always gets the Vietnamese BBQ Pork over broken rice. They do give a fair amount of meat and the flavor is always consistently good, however last time the meat was very fatty. It took a while to pick out the fat before we could enjoy the meal.
I would give 0 stars if i had the options to. They need to work on their manners.That guy waiter was so rude,with a attitude. I went to pay at the cashiers and he literally just snatched the money out my hand.
The food was good but had a bad customer service experience. He made my friend, me, and my other friends very uncomfortable. He said to my friend that boys and men shouldn’t wear nail polish (he only wore CLEAR nail polish). He kept laughing and talking to his other co-worker about it. He was also staring at us/my friend. In no way shape or form should a worker from anywhere make a customer feel uncomfortable. Workers need to keep their opinions to themselves. It was a very uncomfortable experience and need better customer service.
Best Pho in the Richmond area...and for what it’s worth...I’ve been to Vietnam many times!
