Delightful area on the river. Found a shady spot to set up for the day. The hike in is not for anyone with health issues. One series of steps with 4 levels to get down path and of course it seemed like more to get up. The steps have murals painted in cooperation with VCU Art Dept. Another series of wooden steps to traverse. Again, I stress that this is not an easy hike for older or limited mobility people. Kids & grandkid loved playing in the water and climbing on the rocks. Watched ducks, geese, kayaks, and paddle boards go by.
