Always had good food here, never had a bad experience in the last 10 years, as this is being written during pandemic times they allowed you to call when you were in their parking lot and they would/will bring your pizza to your car to help prevent your and their risk of exposure to potentially contacting covid, every one I've seen wears a mask too. Good service, kind people, great pizza. An overall A experience every time

In 1977, my family moved 5 blocks away from this beautiful Pizza place. I now live 49 miles away. To this day, it is the best Pizza I have ever tasted. It has been a staple for out family 40 plus years. I will happily drive 98 miles round trip to get this pizza it is THAT GOOD. The sauce is heaven on earth. The cheese is cooked just right. The crust is perfectly created. Deep Dish is not Chicago pizza, THIS IS and Rico's is the best of the best. Before 9/11, I would bring frozen ones on planes to bring to friends and relatives. We order many at a time, half baked, so we can freeze them and have them later. We order one fully baked so we can eat it while driving the 49 miles back home. I promise you, it will be one of the best pizzas, if not the best, you will ever have. I believe I posted a review of Rico's before, but I want a fresh one for all the new people visiting this page. There pizza is so good, I could not tell you what is on the rest of their menu! My name is Brian and I am a Rico's Pizza fan. I am thankful that I have been able to eat this perfect food for so long. I am thankful for Mr. Derico for creating a sauce so good you can drink it. At my funeral (not for a long time hopefully) Rico's will be served. In or around Lansing IL? I figured I'd try this pizza after seeing good reviews for this place on Google and having driven by so many times. I ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. It was good. They cut the pizza in squares, whereas I prefer pizza cut in traditional wedges. I'm sure if I were to ask, they would cut it differently. The downsides to this place are they don't open until 4pm on Fridays. Also, I called to order ahead and got a busy signal repeatedly. After about 6 minutes of trying, I finally got through. On a positive note, I guess this means a lot of people want their pizza.
