Finally!! Excellent Cantonese Chinese food in New Jersey!! I had a rice plate with BBQ pork, Sui Mai (shrimp in a super light wonton-like pocket) and wonderful handmade wonton soup. Everything was absolutely superb . This was my first time here but I will be back ASAP to try some of the other things on their menu. Sadly, for now anyway, they are not offering inside dining and you can only get takeout. I'll be back!!

Canto Chinese restaurant under new management and a new name. Been to the previous owners and it was quite good. Under the new owners, the food is still good. Traditional dim sum is hard to come by in NJ and they do it pretty well here. I still prefer Aquarius Seafood Restaurant in Fort Lee more but ** Rice Shop is a close second. I wouldn't hesitant to stop by here to get my dim sum fix any day.
I am so happy I finally found a pecking duck place in Jersey! The food was good and very reasonable price. Friendly staff and fast service. Will definitely come back again!
Randomly decided to order through UberEats and it turned out to be a good choice. Roasted Duck was yummy in the rice platter and noodle soup dishes. Congee and steamed pork buns were tasty too.
I am extremely pleased and overjoyed to return to this restaurant, particularly on this weekend when indoor dining was allowed. I ordered the roast duck with noodle. The duck is crispy and very less in fat. It was served in a paper container with the soup separated. The dim sum is at the bar area. The server is very nice and courteous. Feel very safe. No tip accepted. I thought she deserved it. The menu is simple. Spoke to the owner. He is friendly and willing to talk to me about the history of his adventures in restaurant business. Yes, you can see I missed Cantonese Cuisine. I don't have to go to NYC, Brooklyn or Flushing Chinatowns for that.
Everything I ordered was as good as any dim sum I’ve had in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The food traveled about 25 minutes by car and it traveled really well.
This place has changed management multiple times and I hope this one sticks since the dim sum here is great. All the classics are solid and even my mom from Hong Kong thinks it's very very good. We've only been for take out but we're lucky to have this place in the neighborhood.
4 stars for now. This locale has changed names (and probably owner, management) at least 4 times in about as many years and food consistency has been an issue. As of this writing, I have been once to the now named 88 Rice Shop. The food was very good! The service was on point. I hope they are successful, keep consistency and when they do, they deserve 5 stars. P.S. Best crispy pork!
