Just wanted to commend Village Taxi on their great customer service. I had been waiting for an Uber at the park&ride for 45 minutes when I finally decided to call the taxi service. Best decision of the night! They were there within 10 minutes. The woman on the phone was super friendly. The man driving the taxi was awesome as well. We had a great conversation the whole way to my destination (didn't catch his name but he was originally from Lebanon). Amazing experience. Thank you Village Taxi!!!
This was the worst experience of my life. I am currently shaking and nervous for my well being. I came into my home and hugged my family. The driver was reckless; did not stop at stop signs. When I questioned he said it is my business I know what I am doing. When I got to my destination at the next corner he refused to take my card. Then said there is a surcharge; when I questioned the surcharge he screamed and floored the petal and said I'm taking you back and locked the doors. As he pulled a u-turn luckily I fought him locking the doors and got the door open. I said I want to get out and pay. He kept the car in drive. I said call dispatch right now or I am calling the police. As I am shaking for my life as he tried to kidnap new and almost break my leg as it was outside the car; the dispatcher Tina was anything but sympathetic. She cared more about me paying for my travel rather than assisting me in this troubling moment. I question the business they are trying to run and the quality of the employees. When I inquired as to the license # of the driver and his registration as a livery service she gave me nothing nor did he. He even said when I asked for his name that he would just make up a name since I can not do anything about it. I would strongly encourage my peers to pay the extra fee to use a different service since their life is at risk using your company. Please stay away for your life and safety.
