I was at the window waiting for them since “Their speaker wasn’t working.” After waiting even after honking and no one attending me, I took matters into my own hands and walked into the store, as Taco Bell allows carry out I assumed Jack in the Box did as well. (mind you, my mistake, they had a red sign that said the store was closed due to covid-19, which I did not see, and I didn’t have a mask) I walk in and the lady that was supposed to be at the drive-through window is sitting down on her phone. She tells me I’m not supposed to be there. I apologize and simply walk out, my girlfriend and I go back around and patiently wait at the drive through again. When they attend us we are told that one of the machines wasn’t working and threatened that if I were to walk into the store again they’ll call the cops on me... not once was I rude, didn’t cause a ruckus, and simply walked-out... maybe if the workers weren’t on their phones then maybe such misunderstandings wouldn’t happen. Maybe lock your doors just incase customers happen to walk in??? Or I guess threatening a customer right off the bat that you’re going to call the cops on them for walking in without a mask is one way to keep your store sanitized.
