Well, compared to Penny Ice Creamery where it’s all homemade and fresh, I would prefer that. Though, here in Scotts Valley, there’re not that many choices. This Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is also a nice place to go fix the sweet craves. Their creamy frozen custard is delicious and their Italian ice is coolingly refreshing. WAY BEYOND PAD THAI

Stephanie that works there was super friendly and accommodating. I went with my partner and he ordered a milkshake and they were out of milk, so she improvised and used the custard liquid instead - making it an even more delectable treat! She even let me try a sample even though I wasnt getting anything. Would highly recommend :)
Great Family fun to share all their yummy treats here! My family loves the Italian Ice with custard. My fav is the banana ice cream Find your favorite and say "Hello" to the owner & all the the very nice servers. They are very patient when you find it hard to pick a flavor
I had the strawberry custard and it was a bit too sweet. Not really a fresh strawberry flavor. But overall it was still really good.
Awesome local ice cream joint. Technically they sell "Custard's" and "ices" instead of ice cream but they are delicious. Try the Gelati, a blend of both!
This place is a must if you love Italian ice east coast style or amazing custard icecream, definitely different than in philly but still fantastic. Great local staff is a plus as always.
You are able to choose from several different flavors of Italian Ice or if you prefer they also had several different flavors of frozen custard. You can also mix them. I had the Italian Ice and my family had the frozen custard. Both were good. Service was great and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Would visit again if in that area.
All around, good. Good selection of flavors and desserts. The person who helped us was very nice. I ordered a milkshake, but they put some kind of syrup in it - too much. It drowned out the strawberry flavor.
