Came at 6:30p to put our name in and they turned us away because the wait was 1.5 hours and they closed at 8p.... just said the wait is too long. They weren’t even nice about it. I get Covid restrictions but literally only seating people on their tiny strip of a patio is insane to me. Restaurants all over are open for business with seating inside. Either way it’s their loss of business so what do I care? Probably will never try to go back after this. The initial service was just not good. I gave them 2 stars because obviously I didn’t get to try the food.

A lot of grace being given here because of Covid. Their rules are not well thought through which is hurting them. Maybe 10 two top tables total, only one waitress, who is attentive, but ineffective alone. Food is great, but takes forever to get. No lunch specials or bento boxes. 25 AYCE or 18-20 ala carte rolls, neither is great for a quick lunch.
Got AYCE. Food was good and there was a lot of variety on the menu, even non sushi items. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The wait to sit was estimated to be 1.5-2 hours for a party of 4 but we ended up waiting about an hour. A long wait time to sit shouldn't be a reason to give them less stars. They're only sitting outside currently on a small patio.
Best sushi in have had in a long time!!! All you can eat and quality. Presentation and service were amazing Well worth the wait.
AYCE sushi that has quality fish. It is a little pricey compared to other sushi restaurants in the area especially if you don't go with the AYCE option but worth the extra cost in my opinion. Service is much better than Asahi and their outdoor dining area stays much cooler.
DO NOT COME HERE. Literally the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Firstly, we were instantly refused to be put on the waitlist for a party of 4 around 6:30pm due to wait time. Oh well, not a big deal, we can just do take out. I did find it weird that subsequent parties of 3 were told that the wait would be an hour, even though 4 people would take up the same amount of space. We were billed the wrong charge for our order and brought it up with the server/manager, asking if the charge could be redone or if we could be compensated for the extra charge. She instantly refused to acknowledge the mistake, even though we calculated it ourselves and proved to her that it was wrong. And then she personally kept recalculating it and it was obvious that the initial charge was incorrect, which she eventually acknowledged. However, she said there was nothing she could do about it?? It was appalling that she was totally fine with taking our money without offering ANY sort of compensation. After some back-and-forth, she ended up just canceling our entire order in frustration (literally told the chefs to stop making our food). I did (at least) get my money back. The sushi is decent but not worth the abysmal service and being humiliated in front of other customers. I had thought it was an easy fix, but I had no idea how difficult and drawn out she’d make it, for us AND for her. This would have been a non-situation at any other place that actually cared about customers. Please take your business to any other sushi place in Riverside.
Absolutely loved the sushi at this new location! The quality of sushi served and presentation is amazing! Also, our server Irene was the best!!! She offered recommendation and we did one which was an appetizer that was phenomenal. We did the AYCE and its well worth it if in fact you are a sushi lover. This place opened during a very tuff time and happy they did as we all need to understand wait times have been due to limited capacity requirements! We went during the lunch time and had no wait. Keep up the great sushi and service guys!!! We will be back!
