(I am a little biased) However, I think that this is a great hometown league that has provided area girls (and boys too for co-ed tball) the opportunity to play softball for many years. In pertaining to \Fred's\ review, I must state that he is reviewing the Riverton, UTAH softball league and not the Riverton, ILLINOIS softball league. I hope to see this league continue flourishing for many years for the sake of the kids and for the community.

Absolutely the worst! If you want to teach your children lying and cheating this is the place. I am from the area and have no kids involved in the program but like to go watch the games. In one game the referee correctly call a hit in that was close to the line. She was 100% correct. The manager on the other team was just talking to the referee on first base for the next three batters. So they stop the game 3 plays latter and took away 2 points scored during that time and called the girl out from 3 plays before. So the losing team won the playoff game. I went to another playoff game and the the third baseman tagged the runner 10 feet before the base. Everyone starts to walk in and the Referee says she was not watching the play so it is not an out. This play cause this team to lose the game. I seen 2 more playoff games where the same garbage went on. In all four games I watched the Referees fix the game and ruin the game for these girls. A couple of them said they would never play again. In two of the games it was the same team that won the game with bad calls. I am sorry but I think baseball or softball should teach kids sportsmanship. A Referee should actually watch the game, follow the rules and call plays honestly. If you do call a play wrong that is fine as long as you were honest about it However, that was not the case in any of these games.
