Buying a house is stressful and can be an overwhelming experience. You ask yourself a thousand questions; is the builder trustworthy? Is the builder going to take advantage of me? Is the builder going to adhere to my every needs and wants?. I can tell you I am now buying my second home from Ted & Scott. My parents and friends have also bought a home from them. With this being said, there customer service and attention to detail, far exceeds anything I have ever seen. Before you you even consider buying a house from any other builder, I encourage you to see them first!

As a Realtor I constantly work with a wide array of builders. I can honestly say that Layton builders and their entire team is truly top notch. Every aspect of the build process is smooth and efficient, a comfort for buyers at a time which can be very stressful. The product and service they give is like no other. I highly recommend Layton built homes.

We were spoiled by Layton Construction! We had a home built in the Waters Edge Community, that we took possession of in 2012. The quality construction was second to none! We have since moved to Florida into a new community with homes that our neighbors think are "good quality". We can pick this house apart for flaws...hence being spoiled by Ted and Scott. Trying to increase our efficiency, we have had several experts come in and analyze our home. For the area, we are assured that we do have an energy-efficient dwelling. I can't compare apples to apples since we had gas heat in our Layton home and a heat-pump in our new home, but all else being equal, our cost of maintaining our current home runs about twice of the Layton (quality) home. Our average utilities in Delaware was: GAS 25. and ELECTRIC 50 on a monthly basis. (Comcast was the highest utility). Think about this when you are comparing builders.
