It's a nice place for train lovers and young kids. We spent 30 for tickets for me and my 4 kids, and we spent about 45 minutes there. My kid, ages 4 - 9, seemed to like the Lego room more than the train, but I think part of it was because the Lego buildings are kind of right before your eyes, and much of the train is watched at a distance. In my opinion, it's a great place for someone local or passing through to visit. I recommend it, especially during the pandemic when you need a break from being at home, or on a cold and rainy day.

Giving it 4 stars as the kids liked it. Good local stop if you are in the Frderick area. Has some pop culture throught out for the adults.

This place had a huge display of trains and fun gardens that are up year round. It was in need of a good dusting, but I can imagine its hard to keep that many displays clean. Wonderful displays and a lot of fun.

By far the most under-rated attraction in Downtown. Something that is actually fun for all ages, at a great price, and its a local business. What's not to love?

Pretty nice museum! 10 bucks for 12 yrs and up, 5 bucks for 3-11. Sounds pricey, but once you go inside and see the detail and work on what the crew did to make the picture pop; well I'd gladly keep paying it. Son loved it! We walked around and took it all in and oh and ah over it all. Definitely will be back! The gift shop I hope they update more with more options.
