The worst supply chain management model ever seen. GM has no action plan or process improvement experience. Associates work long hours because hiring and retention is not one of the upper management’s priorities. HR was an internal acquisition who prior to becoming HR worked for the recruiting team and is inherently not oriented for employees needs but has business needs prioritized. It does not appear however that there will be any improvement anytime soon either. The pay was great but do not expect to have a life beyond your employment with them.
Nonstop issues. They have constant vehicle breakdowns, continuously have nothing in stock, constantly send people to try to up-sale you and meddle in the daily affairs of your operations. Worst wholesaler I have ever dealt with.
Sorry place to work. They will find every reason to write you up if you don’t go in willingly even though it isn’t stated in the handbook. HR always agrees with the managers. Good luck if you get hurt. They will find a loophole to not pay for your injury. They hire a third party insurance consultant that handles the claims. They expect you to deal with it. No matter what the doctor diagnosis you with. How would you work with an injury if they do not pay for your treatment to see a specialist? They word everything carefully when speaking to you. They are programmed like that. Save your time and your frustration.
This place is a swinging door. I was told a 2 week training. Did not happen. I was never told what picking rates were. Then on the second night my rf scanner stopped working. I asked supervisor for help and didn't get any! That is why they always have job fairs. They can't keep people. The hours are long. Big rip off.
