Great experience! I contacted Robert Beavers Piano and Restoration to move my baby grand piano to a different house. When I first called, I left a message but I was also given the opportunity to text my request, which I did. They responded very quickly and my piano was successfully transported just 3 days later! Mr. Beavers and his crew arrived on time and came equipped with all the right equipment to carefully secure and protect my piano during the transport. I was definitely impressed with their knowledge. I also appreciated Mr. Beavers’ courteous and professional attitude. It doesn’t take long to see he is an expert in this field, and it made me feel at ease knowing my piano was in good hands. His rates are fair and reasonable, and worth every penny. You won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend the services of Robert Beavers Piano and Restoration!

I used this company (Beavers) to move a piano. They were very professional, classy, on time, friendly and kind. The owner himself did the move. Upon my request for a quote I was contacted very quickly. My requested date & time was accommodated. He communicated well and directly with both myself and the person who had the piano at their house so everyone was in the loop. I loved learning how this was a family business his father started in the 1970’s and how he’s been playing the piano himself since he was six. He even graced me with a lovely little ballad on my piano once it was set up in it’s new home. I was very happy with them and have already recommended them to a friend. I love supporting small local businesses that really do a great job!!!

I started out calling Music Instrument stores to find someone to paint my baby grand piano. I was quoted astronomical prices....I think that the people that I spoke with were thinking I was pulling their leg. I didn’t realize my request was strange, however, when I phoned Mr. Beavers, he gave no indication that my request was strange or unusual. He asked a few questions, gave the quote & asked when I wanted my piano picked up. He and his staff arrived on time and the care with which they wrapped and loaded my piano was astounding. The steps weren’t a problem at all for them, they had all of the appropriate equipment needed for a smooth transition from my home, to his truck....I smiled inside as they left because I knew I had made the right choice and I felt secure in that choice. Mr. Beavers sent me pictures of the piano in each stage of the process and I began to become excited as it was progressing beautifully. Each question I asked, he answered promptly. In his videos, it is obvious how knowledgeable he is about a vast array of pianos and his passion for what he does with them shows through. My piano had deep scratches on one side, I assume had been made by improper handling while moving by the previous owner and the carriage was unsteady. There was no indication of either of these things when Mr. Beavers returned my piano to me. The color is so rich and even and the texture so smooth to the touch and no unsteadiness whatsoever. Mr. Beavers suggested new keys as they were uneven & he modified my bench, which was from an upright piano I’d owned. Mr. Beavers solved all of my issues with my piano, even those I wasn’t aware of. I am grateful for his attention to detail. He and his crew are awesome! I cannot thank him enough for his professionalism & superb work in refinishing my baby grand piano and for making my experience a very comfortable and secure one. ........See for yourself ....

Robert and his crew moved our big heavy antique piano down to our basement and I felt at ease knowing he restores these kind of instruments and cares for them. We had a unique back entry to avoid several stairs and he worked with us to accommodate that. There was good communication in coordinating the move beforehand and day of and I felt confident watching the team work together so smoothly even handling our huge beauty. Highly recommend his service.
