The staff here is flat out amazing. They are a pleasure to deal with, so respectful and helpful. Also, they are some of the most knowledgeable dog trainers around this area. They turned my crazy Siberian Husky who wouldn’t listen unless food was involved into an obedient fellow who listens to all commands.

Sit Means Sit was wonderful for my 9 month old Bernese Mountain Dog puppy...and all of us family members! I was insistent we have a polite pup, especially give his large size (and still getting bigger); no one appreciates an out-of-control-pup. Bode spent 13 days at the Immersion Inn. It was a great investment. Bode was treated well and I got updates every few days on his progress and overall well being. When I picked him up, he was still our spunky, loveable pup, but with great manners! The trainers were kind and patient when they worked with him, as well as when working with my me and my husband to train us on his new command words and how to continue working with him. I'm so proud to take him on walks instead of him walking me! He stays by my side with no pulling. He hears and obeys his commands in or out of the house. You can see how proud he is when he gets praised for his good behavior behavior. It's one of the best investments I've made. Since he's been home, we've enjoyed our spunky, now well-minded, pup more than ever. Thank you Sit Means Sit!
Our family adopted Minnie, a 4 year old pitbull mix, back in April, 2020. She was such a sweetheart, however she didn't know basic commands or how to walk on a leash. After reading review after review, we decided to contact Sit Means Sit in Rochester Hills. Minnie spent 2 weeks in the immersion program and to say I am impressed is an understatement. Not only did we gain an obedient, happy dog back, they also taught my family how to continue the training from home. Sit Means Sit did an outrageous job with our Minnie girl. I would recommend Sit Means Sit to everyone! Not only is my family excited to be able to bring Minnie everywhere with us (because let's be honest, dogs are family members), but Minnie is excited to come along. Sit means Sit was a great investment. We're finally able to get our pups attention reliably and without screaming. Everyone has been super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable and confident leaving my pup with them for 2 weeks. I'm so happy I did! I'm also happy that I've still been able to reach out with any questions since bringing her home and no one has made me feel like I shouldn't be reaching out. Highly recommend this place for all your dog training needs!
Our dogs loved their time at Sit Means Sit and what a difference it's made for them (and us!). In two short weeks their confidence with strangers and other dogs has increased by leaps and bounds. We are thrilled with the progress they've made and how easy it is to follow up at home. They treated our dogs like they were their own and worked with us to design a program that worked for our schedule and the dogs' unique needs.
