A wonderful chess club that invites you to stop by and play a game, join the Chess league, enter a tournament or participate in the many offered activities. The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. I would recommend it as a must stop for any chess player visiting Rochester, NY.

The instructors here know many secrets about chess, but David and Ken know one big secret they'll never reveal.

Leo, Leo, Our Leo! Our Leo was the best! But David finally caught up with him! How lovely! We love you guys!

Heard from titled Marshall players that computer cheating has achieved excellence in this club, and the organizers cover their local guys. I was impressed with a detailed account of the incident at their major tournament in March. Indeed a piece of art, too impudent though. But as a matter of fact, I have mixed feelings about this. We live in an era of high technology, don’t we? And chess is not just a sport. It’s an intellectual competition. That being said, if you are smart enough and skillful to use hidden gadgets successfully, don’t you deserve to be the winner? The answer to this question is far from obvious. And I personally wouldn’t mind if my kids used technology in intellectual "martial arts". Keep up, Rochester pioneers of cyber chess! But to receive more stars from me, don’t get caught next time. Well, or it may be worth changing the rules, allowing each player to use computer assistance OPENLY.

Wish I could give it sixty-four stars instead of just five!
