Love this spot. Best place around East and Alexander. Usually have plenty of good beer options and a solid selection of good bar food. Friendly staff with good customer service.

Always great and interesting beers including a few pulled pints. Food is ENGLISH not Irish pub food which is a nice change from the usual. Parking can be a challenge at times but worth the hassle.

Nice place, old English pub atmosphere. Limited menu though.

Its ok .Being English i see it as a poor substitute for the real thing.Food so so beers ok .The original pub was great because of the students who worked there .Do to visa regulations the students are not the wait staff. anymore. Its Americans with a funky attitude..If you were to serve what they pass for fish and chips in England the business would fold..Just no more than another bar on Alexander street.

I was knocked off my feet when i sunk my teeth into their version off a cornbeef sandwhich. I actually like it better then a Reuben..which is insane!! If you are looking for a good night out and a cool atmosphere. Definitely go to the Old Toad!! Best restaraunt ive eaten at in Rochester.

Haven't been here in 9 years and it hasn't changed one bit. Amazing vibe, unique aroma, great whiskey and beer menu.

The new Full English Breakfast is simply awesome. Homemade baked beans, a perfect fried egg, and everything else you would want from a Full English. Top it off with football (not the NFL) on the telly, and you have a perfect Saturday morning!
