I took boat in complaining that it seemed as if not getting enough fuel. Was given a spiel about checking fuel fire compression. He said he checked these. He came up with timing being the problem. he fixed that. i picked up boat headed to lake took forever to start finally got it going. doing same thing except now it took for ever to start. get up to speed and just stopped. He was 5 minutes from lake but could not come down to see what was happening after giving him 600. I decided to look things over my self checked carburetor no fuel in bowl. now how did he check for fuel and not see there was none in top carb. ruined weekend driving from el paso to elephant butte. took boat home and figured out problem was clog in carb at float needle can of carb cleaner and wow. went that far so i rechecked timing he just set and way off. boat running great now. wish i had written check instead of cash would have cancelled check. Talk good game. but worthless.
