Went Christmas Eve. Their menu choices were fewer for the holiday meal, but still a great selection. Unique holiday cocktails were amazing. Finished with their \famous\ Brandy Alexander. Ribs fell off the bone, homemade creamy garlic salad dressing, and the twice baked potato! Can't wait to go back. Service was fabulous!

Food was great. I ordered a poor boy sammie and loved it. The steak was cooked just right and none of it was chewie. The staff was excellent, very professional and helpful. My wife ate something, I dont remember what it was but she liked it. My mom got the perch, it was pretty good. The calamari appetizer was fantastic too. Great taste, no rubber pieces, would order again.
I love going here, getting take away, or delivery from Syl’s. The staff is wonderfully attentive. Stacey, Jason, Ben, Kim, and Fran are always happy to see me when I walk in. The owner always stops by the to check on the tables experience. The Sunday brunch is great. The Sunday prime rib special is a steal!!!! The creamy garlic dressing is the best I’ve ever had. Oh, and the homemade croutons on the salad is a wonderful touch. I am happy to support a local family business, and I hope you check this jem out.
Won’t go back because of new ownership! Owner wouldn’t honor a 100 gift card that was purchased Dec 2019 because he is the new owner of Slys. We wanted to use sooner but with covid - 19, on their website a few months ago it stated gift cards purchased before 03-2020 would not be honored so we waited until it was safer. Recently we looked and it was no longer on their website, so we went in. I thought that’s illegal in the state of Illinois! He was so kind to give us 50 percent of the value of our gift card .... thanks a lot big guy! It’s a shame we’ll never go back here because the food was good.
